I am impassioned to be embarking on another adventure with Betty, Starr Productions and Austin. I feel elated to be the first Miss Austin Teen USA to hold the Miss Austin title, and I am enthusiastic to get started. I will train and work hard to represent Austin well, with the determination needed to bring the state title to Austin again.It has been three years since I held the title of Miss Texas Teen USA 2006 and in that time period I have grown. I have matured from a girl to an independent woman set on achieving all of my childhood dreams. Hopefully those dreams include the titles of Miss Texas USA, Miss USA and finally Miss Universe. { Knock ON Wood}. In addition I will graduate from Texas Christian University and apply to The University of Texas Law School.

This exciting opportunity was achieved with the support of my family and friends. I am blessed to have two incredible parents, whom have been married more than thirty years, two big brothers, and a brilliant older sister. My family also includes a lively and adorable long- hair dachshund. Having him in my world redefines the meaning of responsibility.
I attend TCU in Fort Worth ,Texas. I major in Sociology and Philosophy, with a minor in Latin American Studies. I plan to attend Law School and focus on humanitarian or civil rights law. Although I go to TCU , I am an Austin Girl through and through. I graduated from St. Michael's Catholic Academy in 2006, and attended St Stephen's Episcopal school in grades 6-8. My hobbies include cooking and creating recipes, shopping, teaching my puppy new tricks, and staying in shape.

I am thankful to have this opportunity to represent Austin and work with the community. My goals for this year are to be a positive role model, an active community member, and a contender for the title of Miss Texas USA 2010. With the support of Star Productions, my family, friends, and sponsors, I know that I have every advantage.
