I was born and raised
in Austin Texas and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
When I was given
the opportunity to represent my favorite city in the world
in the Miss Texas Teen USA pageant, I couldn't have been
more excited to begin my year!
I am 18 years old and a recent National Honor Society graduate
of James Bowie High school. I will be attending Texas State
University in the fall to further my education in business.
Growing up I was
a bit of a tomboy, gladly
spending most of my time playing softball and basketball.
I plan to spend
this year preparing to make Austin proud in the Miss Texas
Teen USA pageant, and also continuing my efforts in helping
my community, especially helping those dealing
with serious illnesses. This is an issue very dear to me,
as I have lost my mother to cancer. Although that loss has
been the hardest thing I have ever been through, it has
made me the strong, independent and mature woman that I
have
grown up to be.
I believe that god
has a plan for us all and I cannot wait to
see what he has planned for me over the next year!
Thank you to all
of my family and friends who have gotten me this far. I
hope to make all of y'all very proud!
